1. Who we are
Polyphony Labs Limited is incorporated in Hong Kong. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold, process, and protect personal data through our website, support channels, and apps.
2. Personal data we collect
We collect personal data only where it is reasonably necessary for our products, support, and business operations. This may include your name, email address, message content, device model, operating system version, app version, diagnostic information, and any screenshots or files you choose to send us.
Our first app is in development. Before public launch, app-specific data practices will be reflected in this policy and in the App Store privacy information for the app.
3. Purpose of collection
We may use personal data to provide support, respond to enquiries, diagnose bugs, improve product quality, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and manage our relationship with users, testers, suppliers, and partners.
4. Website and support form
This website is static except for the support form. If you submit the form or email us, we receive the information you provide. We do not ask for sensitive personal data through this website.
5. App Store and third-party services
We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, app distribution, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and related operations. These providers may process personal data for us under their own security and privacy commitments. App Store distribution and app privacy disclosures are also governed by Apple’s policies and user settings.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including support, product improvement, legal, accounting, and security purposes. When data is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss, or use. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Access and correction
Subject to applicable law, including Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you may request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before handling a request.
9. Children
Our products may be used by learners, including younger students, but we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. App-specific handling for younger users will be described before launch where relevant.
